Lucas Prince gets paid to sport the latest fashion. The Paris model tours the globe and graces magazine covers.

Sporting trendy attire is one reason modeling appeals to Lucas, 25.

“I love the clothes,” he said.

Lucas’ latest opportunity to wear some of that fashion is in South Asia.

“I'm in India,” he said. “Today, I have a job in e-commerce for the brand Fahrenheit. So I do the job for nine hours this day. So very tired, but it's a really good experience because it's my first time to do an e- commerce job, so I like it.”

Lucas, who works with such agencies as Renaissance Management, headed to the land of deserts and mountains as a starting point for travel outside of Europe.

“We have taken the decision to come in India in order to become an international model,” he said. “It's the best place to start a modeling career because in India there are a lot of jobs, lot of e-commerce, and they are a good market to begin a new phase.”

Lucas is set to be in India for four months. The Philippines may be a future destination. He wants to make it to the United States someday.

“I would love to come to America because in America you have a lot of jobs and I like the vibes, more passion,” Lucas said.

Lucas has appeared on the cover of Center Stage magazine.

“To do a magazine cover, it’s good,” he said.

Lucas said some assignments are less versatile than others.

“At the end of the day, I’m so tired,” he said about lengthy shoots lacking a variety of stances and expressions. “Because the same pose and in the same space.”

Some emotions are easier to convey than others.

“I like to do a smile,” Lucas said. “But when the photographer says to me, make an expression with your face, play with your eyes, play with your mouth, it’s so difficult because I don't know if my face is good. But I try.”

Lucas has been interested in modeling for a while.

“I want to be a model for six, seven years,” he said. “When I do a Modele Elegance competition in France, I finished third on the podium. So that's the reason to begin modeling. In that competition, a professional photographer proposed to shoot me. It was my first professional shoot. And I put this photo on my Instagram.”

With Lucas’ looks, it’s hard to imagine people not suggesting he become a model before he did. However, he trained himself to not let others’ comments, good or bad, influence his decision.

“I think it was necessary to just hear myself and not hear the other people around,” Lucas said. “Because sometimes, other people are jealous and have bad words to say.”

Unsurprisingly, he works out.

“Yeah, a lot,” Lucas said. “Because in the past I have studied sports in order to become a physical education teacher. And I do a lot of sports like running, like gym. It's good because in India, for example, you can go at the fitness club with the driver of the agency, with other models, and we can go at the gym all day if you want.”

He explained it’s beneficial to be in shape for modeling.

“For example, in India, my agency said the circumference of chest, it's between 99 and 101 centimeters,” Lucas said. “So not more and not less, just in this interval. So it's important in fashion to be fit. It's also good for being a fitness model.”

Diet also plays a role, which is fine with him.

“I like this part of preparation, because I love to cook,” Lucas said. “I like to prepare a recipe like vegetables and chicken and use all the ingredients to have a good plate to be healthy. I watch what I eat, but do not measure my macronutrients and micronutrients because now I haven't got the time.”

His interest in diet extends to the point that he wants to enter that field as well.

“Besides my career modeling, I would like to be a dietitian,” Lucas said. “I will mix nutrition and sports to be a coach in nutrition and coach in sports besides my career modeling if it's possible.”

When Lucas makes it to the U.S. someday, he would like to work with a major advertiser.

“If I go to America, my goal is to do a job for a famous brand,” he said. “Maybe Coca-Cola. It's a very good brand. And I think if I can do publicity for Coca-Cola, I think my career would grow a lot.”

Lucas would like to see other parts of the world, too.

“I would like to see Brazil and South Africa, or maybe see Thailand or Mexico,” he said. “But I want to travel a lot because I love seeing another country, another culture. And it's good because in a career being an international model, we can go everywhere.”

As with many models, Lucas would also like to try acting at some point.

“I hope to have an opportunity in cinema,” he said. “For example, if I go to Mumbai in India, I would love to try Bollywood. I think it's a good way to begin a career as an actor.”

Lucas’ love of modeling is his motivation.

“My motivation is just to do my passion,” he said. “For example, yesterday, I go to the party and I have sleep, not a lot. But today, when I wake up, I'm good because I go to a job and do what I love. So my motivation is to evolve in my modeling career in order to achieve a goal.”

Other models and celebrities inspire Lucas.

“I follow a lot of models on Instagram and like Jacob Rott,” he said. “He's a singer and he does a model cover. They do jobs for big brands like Armani, Hugo Boss, etc. So this model inspired me because I want to to be a famous model like him.”

Along with fitness, Lucas enjoys educating himself on different topics.

“I like to watch a video to learn a new thing,” he said. “I love the science.”

Lucas would like to learn some of the arts.

“If I have the time to do a new activity like theater, like music,” he said. “I’d love to try to play the piano, but now I haven't got the time, but I think it's a real good activity.”

Amid the glamor of modeling, Lucas doesn’t take his loved ones for granted.

“I love to be with my parents, with my family,” he said. “It's very important for me.”
